Abstract
The object of the work carried on at the Jackson Hole Biological Research Station for the summer of 1972 was to identify and collect native composites for phytochemical survey. During my four day stay there, identification and collection of sufficient material (1-5 kg) for phytochemical screening was effected for 12 different species. These fall into two distinct catagories : (1) Those which were chosen for comparison of phytochemical characteristics to those of the same species from other locations, and (2) Those which represent new collections for which no previous phytochemical work is known.
