Abstract

The second year of five on this study has been completed. The plant communitites in the area have been mapped and various subdivisions of these have been made partly as a result of their stage of ecological development in this geologically young area, and partly on the basis of their disclimax development as a result of grazing pressures. This project is closely tied to Project 89-- "An evalualtion of certain exclosures" by Dixie Smith. Joel Verner worked throughout the summer on phases of this project. Project Number 85.
