Grand Teton Np Report
Additional Records of Ectomycorrhizal Macrofungi in the Vicinity of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks
Abstract
Fieldwork on this project and study of previous collections in 1994 concentrated on the primary longÂterm objective of adding to the species inventory of the broad geographic area previously defined (McKnight, 1982; McKnight, et al., 1986; McKnight & Moser, 1993) using the same collecting, laboratory, and herbarium methods. Our studies again concentrated on the Cortinariaceae, particularly the genus Cortinarius. This work was aided significantly when we were joined for a short time during August by Dr. Egon Horak from the Geobotanisches Institut, ETH. Zurich, Switzerland, currently specializing in the genus Galerina.
