Antiquity, Original Size and Location of Prarie Dog Towns in the Wind Cave National Park

Abstract

To describe and interpret soil morphology and properties in selected prairie dog mounds in order to estimate the length of time the mound has been in use and support this estimate with C14 dates if stratigraphically identifiable organic materials are available m the mounds.
